"Paul has spent all his life in and around the Whiteshell Park, with family history going back to his grandparents building a cottage at West Hawk Lake in the 1940's, to residing permanently at Falcon Lake for the past 30 years. In his teens, Paul worked at numerous resorts, stores and restaurants in the park, then became the Whiteshell milk, ice cream and ice delivery guy for Cambridge Dairies in the 1970's. Paul worked for the Parks Branch in the north end of the park at Nutimik Lake for 6 years before deciding to purchase the Falcon Lake Shell Station in 1986. Along with the Shell Station, Paul has been involved in ownership or partnership with other Whiteshell businesses, including Keystone Resort, West Hawk Inn and the Falcon Lake Hardware store. Over the years, Paul has been involved with many community organizations, such as the Community Club and the Falcon Beach School. He is currently the president of the Falcon/West Hawk Chamber of Commerce, is the Deputy Chief of Administration for the South East Whiteshell Fire Dept, and is on the board of the South Whiteshell Medical Centre and on the board of the Whiteshell Cemetery committee. Building a strong community and giving back are of utmost importance to Paul's commitment to our area!"
